Very busy. Lots of wines to taste and foods to eat. The bull sculpture is very impressive! Shame it is to be burnt. On Saturday morning, in the middle of the festival grounds, between the tents and displays, they begin to assemble the 8 metre high sculpture of the Bull. This year, 2022, it was a Zen Bull on a Wine Barrel with its legs crossed. The assembly continued throughout the afternoon, whilst the fun of the fair continued all around with animal displays, vintage machinery and tractors, activities and novelties for the kids, camel rides, train rides and of course a wine, beer and cider tasting tent for the adults, where you can sample the produce that has come down from the Ferguson Valley. There is a large variety of food, drinks and coffee throughout the fair as well as educational displays and community group fund raising activities. Then, as it starts to get dark at around 7:30, there is a parade of illuminated sculptures of native animals. At the conclusion of this, the 10 second countdown starts just before 8:00 and the Bull is set alight with fireworks coming out of its ears and flames pouring out of its nose. After 30 minutes all that is left is pile of charcoal. The end of another festival. It is worth seeing at least once in your life.

Great place to bring the family. Unfortunate that the majority of attractions end at 5:00. You can either come for the day or the night, but it's hard to fit in both.

Absolutely loved it! Great day with just enough going on and to see to keep you or a family occupied for the whole day. Lots of kids activities and options too.Good range of stalls with great local produce and items to buy... though problem is you'll crave all that super yummy stuff once you're back home and eaten it all!The burning of the bull as awesome!Only criticism is the wine and cheese tasting area is too small - very crowded - and the tasting glasses are expensive.Highly recommend the whole event - I'll be back next year!!!
